How Can I Contribute ?

An Appeal to all well-wishers of the Brahma Vidya tradition

The scriptures say that “Vidyaadaanam sarvadaanaat pradhaanam” (The gift of knowledge is the greatest of gifts). We invite all those who value our spiritual knowledge tradition to come forward and contribute generously in support of this initiative of the Adi Shankara Brahma Vidya Peeth and be a part of this effort to preserve and retain Somashram as a seat of sadhana, and study of Brahma Vidya.

A significant milestone in the history of the Peeth was attained on May 13, 2013 Shankara Jayanti with the much-needed construction and inauguration of the Adi Shankara Hall, meant for Vedanta adhyayana and adhyaapana (study and  teaching). There is an urgent need for funds to pay for the remainder of the construction cost incurred in this project. Become a contributor to this project and also to the sadhus and students of Uttarkashi who are resident at the Adi Shankara Brahmavidya peeth by extending your financial support for their regular subsistence needs.

Contributions by cheque/demand drafts are to be drawn in favour of

‘Adi Shankara Brahma Vidya Peeth’
